§100 extends the §97 vehicle framework with NFSU2/Carbon-depth visual customization, performance tuning, save/share workflows, hidden parts, and special vehicle kits for bikes, off-road vehicles, and pod racers.

Visual Customization#

Body kit slots cover front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, hood, roof scoop, spoiler, fenders, mirrors, lights, window tints, and hood ornament. Each slot can carry Autosculpt-style authored bounds for width, height, and curve sliders.

Paint supports full-color layers for primary, secondary, accent, and detail paint. Finishes include matte, gloss, pearl, metallic, chrome, candy, iridescent, and brushed metal. Vinyls and decals are layer based with blend modes, projection mapping, per-vehicle gallery, and moderated community gallery.

Wheel customization commits to 200 launch wheel designs with chrome, black, polished, and colored finishes, plus size, offset, tire profile, and tire-wall stencil data. Neon is per zone, tint is per glass pane, exhaust tips support chrome, black, titanium, and carbon finishes, and license plates use regional templates and filters. Hydraulics and sound systems are cosmetic-only.

Performance Tuning#

Engine swaps carry cost, mass change, and RPM curve adjustment. ECU tuning adjusts fuel map, ignition timing, and boost pressure with power, fuel economy, and reliability tradeoffs. Turbo and supercharger upgrades remain tied to the §97 engine model.

NOS tuning covers capacity, injection rate, activation curve, visible canister, per-canister duration, bottle-shake recharge, and a tiered charge meter. Transmission upgrades tune gear ratios, final drive, and shift speed. Suspension tuning covers spring rate, damper compression, damper rebound, anti-roll bar, ride height, camber, toe, and caster. Brake upgrades cover disc size, caliper count, and brake bias. Drivetrain conversion allows RWD-to-AWD on eligible vehicles only. Weight reduction removes components such as back seats, sound deadening, and spare tire with handling tradeoffs.

Save, Share, Preview#

Each user gets at least 10 save slots per vehicle. Saved builds include customization, tune state, share code, and community-gallery state. Community gallery supports featured weekly designs. Pre-purchase preview lets players test drive a vehicle, part, or tune on a sandbox track before spending currency.

Hidden Parts And Special Vehicles#

Hidden parts are discoverable through exploration, event completion, and hidden map-marker reveal. Regional hidden part pools rotate weekly.

Bike customization covers tank, fairing, wheels, exhaust, seat, and handlebars. Off-road/rally customization covers snorkel, light bar, bull bar, winch, roof rack, and mud-flap. Pod-racer customization covers engine pod, cockpit, vinyl, underbody energy-field glow, and trail color.

Verification#

VehicleCustomizationTuning_V2_Contract.json, customization-depth.json, the Vehicles.Module automation spec, and check-v2-vehicle-customization-tuning.py validate §100.
