Section 119 defines the racing-specific compliance catalog used by production, legal, QA, online services, vehicles, and accessibility systems. It records enforceable product gates; legal and platform certification teams retain final signoff.

Vehicle Licensing And Damage#

Licensed vehicles require a signed per-manufacturer contract with vehicle term, royalty schedule, removal clause, and damage-portrayal clause, cross-referencing Section 77.5. Damage and destruction display is gated per contract. Licensed luxury manufacturers default to cosmetic damage only, while original-IP vehicles permit the full damage model.

Regional Racing Variants#

Regional racing variants are documented in V2/docs/regions/racing-variant.md. Every variant covers cop/pursuit content, combat-racing weaponry, speed-limit unit display, and number-plate format. The China publisher SKU adjusts cop visuals and keeps speed display in km/h.

Content Safety#

V2 forbids drunk or impaired driving depiction in racing content. The policy is enforced through per-region content variants. Non-Death-Race pursuit rulesets must use incapacitate language rather than kill language; lethal language is restricted to Death Race.

Trophies And Achievements#

The racing trophy and achievement plan covers PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, and Epic. Objective classes include per-mode completion, per-vehicle-class unlock, per-rank-tier promotion, and special-condition rewards such as winning a Canyon Duel without flashback.

Anti-Cheat#

Racing anti-cheat cross-references Section 112.7 for per-section physics-impossible-time detection. Race-record writes are gated by replay determinism. Per-vehicle physics parameter ranges are enforced and out-of-range tunes are flagged.

Cert And Wheel Support#

Racing cert coverage includes streaming cinematic camera, force-feedback wheel support, and photo mode capture across platform targets. Wheel support covers Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Hori, and MOZA with per-vehicle force-feedback tuning.

Accessibility#

Racing assists cross-reference Section 98.2. ABS, TCS, Stability, Auto-Brake, and Racing Line are toggleable for accessibility. Auto-throttle supports severely motor-impaired players. Career difficulty can step down on consecutive losses through Section 90.2. Reduced-motion racing camera cross-references Section 53.2 and clamps motion blur plus camera shake.

Verification#

RacingComplianceCert_V2_Contract.json, racing-compliance-cert.json, racing-variant.md, Racing.Module automation coverage, RacingComplianceCert.spec.cpp, subsystem registration, CI registration, and check-v2-racing-compliance-cert.py validate Section 119.
