@v2/lakshmi-responsible-play-spend-insight is the V2 adapter for optional
player spend insight around store confirmations and cosmetic purchases. It
composes @lakshmi/behavioral, @lakshmi/budgeting, and
@lakshmi/transactions; the historical @lakshmi/spend-insight name is not a
package and must not be used.
Contract#
@lakshmi/transactionsnormalizes the merchant/description text and supplies the category when V2 has not already captured one.@lakshmi/budgetingcomputes category spend velocity and projected budget exposure.@lakshmi/behavioralsupplies opt-in impulse detection, player-facing nudges, and weekly summary reflection prompts.
Enforcement#
Insight prompts require explicit player opt-in. Self-imposed caps also require that opt-in and can warn or block a store confirmation. The parental controls path applies independently of the player's insight opt-in, because a guardian rule can block a category, per-purchase amount, weekly cap, or require guardian approval.
Budget overages are warnings only. They can delay or annotate the store confirmation surface, but they do not block gameplay or inventory state.
Rollback Boundary#
The adapter is off rollback. It may affect store confirmation, parental approval, self-imposed caps, weekly summary copy, and player education, but it cannot feed deterministic match simulation, rollback inputs, frame decisions, or competitive outcomes.
