Decision#

Create @oshun/region-rules as the shared regional content-rule package. V2 is the first consumer. Aphrodite supplies age and consent signals, but the reusable country/platform content matrix belongs in shared Oshun infrastructure.

Implementation Contract#

  • V2 cooks per-region gore, wagering, on-chain, store, and communication rules from @oshun/region-rules.
  • Missing region data defaults to the most restrictive supported profile.
  • Region-rule changes require tests proving affected SKUs cook with expected content clamps.

V2 Implementation#

@oshun/region-rules now ships the V2 regional content cook contract. The buildV2RegionalContentCookPlan API cooks China, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Korea SKU profiles with gore variants, content cuts, and asset-tag actions. Unknown or missing region data resolves to the China most-restrictive profile.

Aphrodite supplies optional age-gate and consent inputs to the cook plan, but the shared package owns the country matrix. SKU cook tests cover CN / DE / AU / NZ / KR and prove every profile clamps extreme gore and adult fatalities before shipping.
