  • Rating-board submission: submit the standard-ship build through the ESRB long-form questionnaire with disclosure of intense violence, blood and gore, strong language, suggestive themes, in-game purchases, and user interaction.
  • Content policy: standard ship — no gore restriction; full Fatality and X-Ray presentation as authored.
  • Streaming patch: the T-rated streaming-safe patch swaps gore-heavy finishers and strong-language VO per the streaming_safe_patch content profile.
  • Store-page copy: display the ESRB M (Mature 17+) rating mark, content descriptors, and interactive elements (In-Game Purchases, Users Interact) on every US store page.
  • Marketing assets: US trailers and screenshots may show rated content but must carry the ESRB rating slate per ESRB advertising guidelines.
  • In-game text: externalized strings must not promise content the rating disclosure did not cover.
  • Store flow: age-gated presentation for M-rated purchase per platform rules.
  • Runtime: boot assert compares the installed US SKU to RegionVariant.US.ESRBM.
