- Rating-board submission: submit the standard-ship build through the PEGI declaration with disclosure of realistic violence, bad language, and in-game purchase descriptors (including paid random items disclosure where applicable).
- Content policy: standard ship — no gore restriction; full Fatality and X-Ray presentation as authored.
- Streaming patch: the PEGI 12 streaming-safe patch swaps gore-heavy finishers
and strong-language VO per the
streaming_safe_patchcontent profile. - Store-page copy: display the PEGI 18 rating mark and content descriptors on every EU store page; per-country storefront text localized per §54 locale coverage.
- Marketing assets: EU trailers and screenshots must carry the PEGI rating label
per PEGI advertising rules; Germany uses the separate USK SKU and checklist
(
de-usk18-checklist.md). - In-game text: externalized strings must not promise content the declaration did not cover; in-game purchase disclosure surfaces in the EU first-run flow.
- Store flow: age-gated presentation for PEGI 18 purchase per platform rules.
- Runtime: boot assert compares the installed EU SKU to
RegionVariant.EU.PEGI18.
