Section 125 defines HardwarePeripherals.V2, an input-owned catalog for wheels, pedals, shifters, handbrakes, button boxes, sim rigs, fight sticks, adaptive controllers, calibration, force feedback, ranked pool policy, certification, and controller theme sync.

Vendor SDK Matrix#

Steering wheel SDK coverage includes Logitech G29, G923, and G PRO; Thrustmaster T128, T248, T300, and T500; Fanatec CSL DD, ClubSport DD, and DD Pro; Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel; MOZA R5, R9, R12, R16, R21, and R-Series direct drive; Cammus C5 and C12; Asetek SimSports; and Simucube.

Pedal coverage includes Logitech G PRO pedals, Thrustmaster T-LCM and T3PM, Fanatec ClubSport V3 and V3 Inverted, Heusinkveld, Asetek Invicta, and Simucube Active Pedal. Shifter and handbrake coverage includes Logitech G PRO Shifter, Thrustmaster TH8A, Fanatec ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5, MOZA HGP and HBP, plus Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, MOZA, and Heusinkveld handbrakes.

Button box and sim rig coverage includes Fanatec Podium Button Box, Cube Controls, Stream Deck integration, SimVibe, ButtKicker, seat-belt tactile feedback, and bass-shaker tactile feedback.

Fight stick and hitbox-style support includes Hori Fighting Stick, Mini, and Octa; 8BitDo Arcade Stick; Razer Kitsune; Victrix Pro FS; MadCatz Mortal Kombat 1 Fightstick; Qanba Drone, Q2, Q3, and Obsidian; and Mayflash F500. Adaptive controller support includes PlayStation Access Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, Logitech Adaptive Gaming Kit, and Quadstick.

Fight-stick support includes per-fight-stick button-mapping presets, per-stick optimal layout suggestions, and hitbox-style layout presets. Adaptive controller support aligns to Section 53.1 with PlayStation Access Controller per-button programmability, Xbox Adaptive Controller support, Logitech Adaptive Gaming Kit integration, and Quadstick mouth-operated input support.

Xbox Adaptive Controller support uses Input.Mapping.XboxAdaptiveController.V2 and Hardware.Compatibility.XboxAdaptiveController.V2 to bind the hub to the XSXGamepad mapping contexts, expose player-mappable external switch ports, keep neutral SOCD cleaning through SOCDPreset.XboxAdaptive.Neutral, and show the Tutorial.Device.XboxAdaptive adaptive-hub glyph overlay. Compatibility testing covers hub-only, external-switch, joystick, and Copilot fixtures before the device is accepted as certified.

Force Feedback And Calibration#

Per-wheel force-feedback profiles are authored per vehicle with per-corner suspension feedback, per-tire grip feedback, per-collision impact feedback, and per-curb rumble. The tuning UI exposes gain, dynamic-range, linearity, damping, spring, and friction. Direct-drive wheels use torque scaling so high-torque hardware cannot overpower players.

The first-launch calibration wizard detects the peripheral set and provides step-by-step visual feedback. Per-player profiles save per peripheral set and are shareable. Pedal calibration covers deadzone, throw distance, curve linearity, and load-cell brake pressure. Shifter calibration requires clutch plus safety-button reverse engagement, and gyro calibration is present for platform controllers.

Vehicle Controls#

Vehicles with manual transmission can use H-pattern shifters. Sequential shifters are available for all vehicles. Reverse engagement uses clutch plus safety button where applicable. Racing rulesets distinguish drift handbrake behavior from rally handbrake behavior.

Partner Program And Ranked Pools#

The per-vendor SDK partner program references Section 52 live-service operations and Section 86 store operations. It covers early access to new wheels, pedals, and controllers plus per-product launch tie-in marketing.

Tournament ranked mode separates Wheel + Pedals players from Gamepad players. Gamepad pools default to more assists, wheel pools default to less assist, and ranked-pool-specific assist defaults are documented.

Certification#

Peripheral TRC coverage maintains a per-platform certified peripheral list for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch2, and PC. Every listed peripheral requires a documented per-peripheral cert pass before it can be treated as certified.

Controller Theme Sync#

DualSense and Edge LED bars sync with equipped fighter faction colors: Lin Kuei frost-blue, Black Dragon green, Brotherhood of Shadow violet, and White Lotus gold. Per-fighter Mythic skins unlock signature LED pattern animation.

DualSense, Xbox, and Switch2 controller speakers route per-fighter voice barks and per-fighter signature impact stings. Controller motion-gyro support covers Bushido Blade-style sword combat and gyro aim assist for precision strikes. Battery-status HUD is shown for PS5, Xbox, Switch2, and PC connected controllers, with low-battery warning before ranked matches. Edge, Elite, and Pro controller back buttons use a per-fighter preset library.
