This gate closes V6/V6_TODOS.md section 45 by requiring green certification checklists for every V6 launch platform owned by Apple, Google, Meta, Sony, Valve, and Epic. V6 reuses the V3 cross-platform certification posture, then binds it to V6-specific BuildGraph nodes, build-size evidence, data-rights evidence, region/residency evidence, and XR comfort evidence where applicable.

Required Outcomes#

Provenance caveat (added 2026-06-12, pending vendor evidence). The outcomes below are the required end states, and the evidence JSON (cross-platform-certification-validation.json) records them as captured — but vendor approvals and store publication cannot be proven from repo artifacts. No App Store / Google Play / Meta Horizon / PSN / Steam / Epic approval or publication can have occurred for an unreleased product, and the verifier (by its own admission below) does not call store APIs. Treat every "approved and published" row as pending external vendor evidence: structural readiness is what the repo proves; the approvals themselves are external real-world outcomes re-verified at submission time.

Fail-Closed Checks#

The verifier fails closed when any platform record:

is missing, duplicated, or mapped to the wrong checklist item;
lacks certChecklistStatus: "green" or any checklist item is not pass;
lacks final approvalStatus: "approved";
is unpublished where publication is required;
is not approved_for_release for Sony, Valve, or Epic release-candidate portals;
lacks trcStatus: "signed_off" when the Sony TRC requirement applies;
drifts from the required package kind or package extension;
omits package path, signing profile, release version, store submission ID, approval artifact ID, or ISO timestamps;
references missing evidence paths;
references BuildGraph cook/boot nodes not present in V6/ue/Build/Build.xml;
references a V6 build-size platform whose CI status is not green.

The local verifier does not call private store APIs. It enforces that the release captain has captured explicit, traceable final approval and green checklist evidence before the V6 build can be treated as platform-certified.
