Release Gate#

Every release gate includes wellness signoff. The gate blocks when overtime exceptions are unresolved, PTO minimums are at risk, mental-health or trauma-content support coverage is missing, cultural review is incomplete, DEI/accessibility review is missing for an affected feature, harassment investigation SLAs are breached, remote-time-zone exceptions are unapproved, or checked work lacks verification evidence.

Governance#

The studio GM owns accountability. The production director owns schedule and scope response. HR/people operations owns benefits, compensation bands, reporting channels, and accommodations. Legal owns ombudsperson independence, investigation integrity, and contractor/vendor language. Accessibility, localization, narrative, and community leads own their specialist review gates.
