This plan binds V2 store launch features, purchasing-power parity pricing, seasonal sale posture, subscription options, and refund handling to @maat/finance and the in-engine commerce / settings surfaces.

Platform Store Features#

  • Steam ships achievements, community items / trading cards where eligible, screenshots, broadcasts, Workshop cosmetic mods, a controller configurator template, and Remote Play Together support. Workshop content is cosmetic-only and must pass Themis Originality Shields before publication.
  • Epic Games Store ships Epic achievements, EOS crossplay, mod.io-backed cosmetic mod support, and cross-store cosmetic carry where contractually available.
  • Microsoft Store ships achievements, Game Pass option-B negotiation, cloud save, Quick Resume, and Xbox Play Anywhere review.
  • PlayStation Store ships PSN trophies, Share Play, party voice compatibility, optional PS Plus catalog negotiation, and wishlist sync.
  • Xbox Live ships achievements with Gamerscore, Smart Delivery, cloud save, party chat, Game Pass tie-in option, Looking for Group, and official game hub integration.
  • Nintendo Switch2 ships GameShare compatibility, Save Data Cloud support, Nintendo Switch Online entitlement checks, GameChat compatibility review, and a My Nintendo mission/reward campaign only if Nintendo approves it. V2 does not assume a platform-wide Nintendo trophy equivalent.

Every platform gets a launch-placement packet: front-page or eShop feature pitch, preorder banner, demo placement, and wishlist campaign assets. The packets are metadata-complete before certification submission so store teams can accept, reject, or reschedule without code churn.

PPP Pricing#

V2/balance/pricing/ppp-table.csv is the launch pricing table for standard editions, deluxe editions, DLC, and premium currency. It uses ISO-4217 currency codes, local minor units, a PPP ratio in basis points, and a price-floor basis point guardrail so lower-income regions are not whipsawed by short-term FX movement.

Rules:

  • @maat/finance remains the authority for price decisions.
  • Region review is quarterly by default and monthly in high-inflation launch markets.
  • First purchase locks the account region; a region change has a 90-day cooldown and routes through identity recovery / account merge review.
  • VPN-region-shop attempts compare account home region, payment BIN country, platform store country, IP risk, and recent region changes. Cheaper off-region attempts are blocked and queued to ops review.
  • All store and settings surfaces use local-currency formatting and minor-unit rules from the price table.

Sale Calendar#

Sale events disclose the percentage before purchase and preserve the platform receipt so refund and price-adjustment support can audit the transaction.

  • Steam: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and a Lunar New Year custom/regional campaign unless Valve exposes a matching slot.
  • PlayStation Store: Days of Play and Black Friday.
  • Xbox: Spring, Summer, and Holiday / Countdown sale windows.
  • Nintendo eShop: Black Friday / Cyber Deals, publisher sale windows, and seasonal eShop promotions.

The sale calendar never promises platform placement. It records pitch windows, asset readiness, allowed discount percentages, and cooldown conflicts.

Subscription And F2P#

Game Pass and PS Plus are launch negotiation options, not default launch channels. If either option is accepted, retention, conversion, churn, and revenue metrics are segmented from full-price cohorts.

Free-to-play conversion is roadmap-only for Year-2+. A pivot requires cosmetic-only monetization, Battle Pass tuning, low-friction onboarding, and make-good grants for paid players before any public announcement.

Refunds#

Refund decisions honor the stricter of platform policy and regional statutory rights.

  • Steam and Epic: 14 days and less than 2 hours where eligible.
  • PlayStation Store: 14 days if download or streaming has not started, except where defective-content rules or local law are stricter.
  • Xbox: 14-day request window with Microsoft eligibility review and no significant play time.
  • Nintendo Switch2: Nintendo eShop digital-product rules, with statutory rights and support-approved exceptions overriding the default.
  • EU cooling-off and similar statutory rights are represented as overrides, never hidden behind platform defaults.

Settings expose Settings.Account.PurchaseHistoryExport and Settings.Account.RefundHistory. Export rows include platform receipt, purchase timestamp, region, local currency, refund status, and refund reference id. Refund-after-threshold patterns are flagged after 2 hours of play for ops review, not automatically punished.
