# Nyx Rail channel

The Nyx adapter projects the real `@nyx/ephemeris` calculations through the
`@nyx/sky-clock` materialiser. It keeps only above-horizon events, exposes only
a one-degree location bucket, and never fabricates aurora forecasts or sky-cam
feeds. Aurora signals use the concrete `@nyx/events` NOAA SWPC adapter and its
local geomagnetic visibility threshold. Sky cams enter through explicit provider
configuration and remain docked third-party media.

The tile is deliberately glance-first and non-autoplaying. The channel has its
strongest affinity with `wind-down`; missing a signal creates no penalty or
obligation.
