# V2 Aja Studio Mocap Pipeline

`@v2/aja-studio-mocap-pipeline` defines the V2 studio mocap path for Vicon /
OptiTrack shoots. Vicon and OptiTrack remain physical recording hardware with a
`recording-only` role; software cleanup, contact/root repair, and V2-skeleton
retarget are owned by Aja.

The package chain is fixed:

- `@aja/motion-pipeline-sdk` ingests Vicon / OptiTrack takes, imports marker
  solves, fills gaps, removes jitter, and normalizes contacts/root motion.
- `@aja/neural-retargeting` retargets the cleaned source skeleton to the V2
  fighter skeleton and emits retarget quality evidence.

The contract sets `motionBuilderMayaFallbackAllowed: false` for default cleanup
and retarget. Maya and MotionBuilder remain available only for manual artist
review or emergency correction after the Aja output is generated.
