# V2 Racing VFX Deep

Section 116 defines the racing-specific vehicle VFX catalog for tire smoke,
sparks, brake glow, debris, damage decals, motion boost, Power-Play hazards,
anti-grav glow, vehicle damage shaders, and weather.

## Tire Smoke, Sparks, And Brake Glow

Per-tire smoke scales by slip ratio and surface. Asphalt smoke is thicker, dirt
dust is browner, and mud splatter is heavier, with coverage for sand, snow, and
water surfaces as well. Spark VFX triggers under the chassis for slammed-stance
road contact and for curb or barrier contact. Brake-disc glow appears under
heavy braking and visualizes per-rotor temperature.

## Debris, Decals, And Wreck Explosions

Per-collision debris spawns glass, plastic, and metal-sheet shrapnel. Bumper,
fender, and hood part fall-off is authored as detachable vehicle debris. Damage
decals progress through scuff marks, paint scratches, Death Race bullet holes,
and soot. Wreck explosion VFX is Death Race gore-tier gated.

## Motion, Speed Lines, And Boost

Speed-aware motion blur has per-platform and per-FPS target tuning plus a
reduced-motion accessibility override that cross-references Section 53.2.
Futuristic rulesets activate speed-line overlays at speed bands. NOS and boost
VFX add blue-flame backwash, screen-edge color shift, and motion-blur
intensification.

## Power-Play Hazards

Power-Play event VFX cross-reference Section 105 and cover explosion, crane
swing, building collapse, falling debris, fire, and smoke. Each event scales its
size to the player perspective.

## Anti-Grav Glow

Anti-grav VFX cross-reference Section 109 and include per-anti-grav engine glow,
per-vehicle aura color, and per-vehicle trail VFX.

## Vehicle Damage Shaders

Vehicle damage shaders cross-reference Sections 97.8 and 44.6. The material
parameter blend transitions through Clean, Scuffed, Damaged, Wrecked, and
Totaled states over 30 frames.

## Weather VFX

Weather VFX covers rain on windshield for cockpit cam, desert dust storm, snow
accumulation on hood, and volumetric fog.

## Verification

`RacingVFXDeep_V2_Contract.json`, `racing-vfx-deep.json`,
`RacingVFXDeep.spec.cpp`, `VehicleVFX.Module` automation coverage, subsystem
registration, CI registration, and `check-v2-racing-vfx-deep.py` validate
Section 116.
