# V2 Veritas Esports Fact-Checking

`@v2/esports-tools` wires `@veritas/fact-checking` into V2 post-match reporting,
bracket result verification, and esports news publication readiness.

## Scope

The bridge covers:

- Bracket result verification against replay authority.
- Post-match report readiness after replay, bracket, and reported winner records
  agree.
- Esports news publication readiness with a hold when winner records conflict.
- Evidence scoring, source credibility, internal fact checks, consensus,
  verdicts, and a generated `FactCheckReport` through `@veritas/fact-checking`.

## Runtime Contract

The package exports `buildV2VeritasEsportsFactChecking()` from
`@v2/esports-tools`. Callers pass tournament, event, match, bracket, replay,
post-match report, and news story identifiers plus the reported, replay, and
bracket winners. The returned plan includes claims, evidence, verification
results, external fact checks, tracked claims, consensus, verdicts, a fact-check
report, bracket verification status, post-match report readiness, and esports
news readiness.

The binding id is `v2.esports.veritas-fact-checking`. Event topics include
`v2.esports.veritas.bracket-result.verified`,
`v2.esports.veritas.post-match-report.checked`, and
`v2.esports.veritas.news-story.fact-checked`.

## Rollback Boundary

Veritas fact-checking is post-match journalism and reporting state. It uses
`off-rollback-post-match-journalism`, sets `mayInfluenceRollback: false`, and
must never feed deterministic match simulation, rollback inputs, or match result
authority. Winner conflicts hold reporting and news publication; they do not
rewrite match state.

## V2Services Registration

The Unreal `V2Services` module registers `veritas-fact-checking` for client-side
service discovery. The adapter is unavailable on dedicated servers and remains
off rollback.
